We Handle the Insurance. You Handle Recovering.
A property loss comes with two jobs: fixing the damage and fighting the paperwork. We do both — direct carrier billing, adjuster-ready documentation, and estimates written in the platform your insurance company prices from.
Your Claim, Step by Step
Emergency First
We mitigate immediately — your policy requires preventing further damage, and mitigation is covered. Don't wait for an adjuster to start.
Document Everything
Photos of every affected surface, moisture readings, drying logs and a room-by-room scope — the package that gets claims approved.
Meet the Adjuster
We walk the loss with your adjuster on site and agree the Xactimate line items before rebuild begins.
Bill the Carrier
We invoice your insurance company directly. On covered losses, your typical out-of-pocket is your deductible.
Three Things Every Policyholder Should Know
- You choose the contractor. Carriers may suggest a preferred vendor, but California policyholders have the right to hire the restoration company they trust.
- Mitigation can't wait for approval. Policies require prompt action to prevent further damage — emergency dry-out and board-up are covered mitigation, not a gamble.
- Hidden damage gets supplemented. When demolition reveals damage the first inspection couldn't see, a documented supplement adds it to the claim. Normal, expected, handled.
Straight Answers
Do I have to get multiple bids for an insurance claim?
No. You have the right to choose your restoration contractor — your carrier can't require you to use their preferred vendor. We work with every major carrier using the same Xactimate pricing they use.
What is Xactimate and why does it matter?
Xactimate is the estimating platform virtually every insurance carrier prices claims with. Because we write our scopes in Xactimate with region-correct pricing, adjusters can review and approve line-by-line instead of arguing about numbers.
What if the adjuster's estimate is too low?
That's what supplements are for. When we open walls and find damage the first inspection couldn't see, we document it and submit a supplement with photos and line items. Normal, expected, handled.
Do you charge for the emergency inspection?
No — assessment and scope are free. On covered losses our work is billed directly to your carrier and your typical out-of-pocket is the policy deductible.
Will filing a claim raise my rates?
Rate impact depends on your carrier, policy and history — that's a question for your agent. What we control is documentation quality, which keeps the claim clean, supported and moving.
